Established in 2012, Basin Upfitting is the premier commercial truck and van upfitter in the Mountain West. With 45,000 sqft of shop space split between Boise, ID and Salt Lake City, we employ 50+ shop techs, welders, installers and fabricators, sales and operations specialists. While we've fine-tuned our operation to turn out standard light-medium duty work-vehicles, the need for heavier duty trucks built for more specific jobs has been fueling a need for expansion.  Jackknife Motors was established as the medium/heavy-duty custom fabrication and entertainment arm under the Basin family.
